· Spectacular Rail Journey from Glasgow to Oban on the West Highland Line - Considered by many to be the most scenic rail journey in the world, leaves Glasgow behind and delves deep into the wild west coast. This is a side of Scotland you can only see from the train that carries you north along the west coast, through the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park past Loch Awe to Oban. You’ll travel through a daunting landscape of mountains, steep-sided lochs, and heather moors.




· Bo’Ness & Kinneal Steam Railway  This hidden gem is located in the historic town of Bo’ness. We’ll board a heritage steam or diesel-hauled trains and travel along the shore of the Firth of Forth with views of the majestic Ochil Hills, before climbing a tree-lined gradient, passing woodland, wild flowers and waterfalls to the country station of Birkhill. Then crosses the River Avon Viaduct to Manuel




 Sail on the Falkirk Wheel -  This remarkable and elegant mechanical marvel is the only rotating boatlift in the world. It’s an exceptional feat of modern engineering, designed to reconnect the Forth and Clyde Canal·


Forth Bridge


· Three Bridges & Blackness Castle Cruise on The Forth Relax on board and listen to the guided commentary. Take in the spectacular views of the Three Bridges, the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline to the south and the Kingdom of Fife to the north, the island of Inchcolm with its medieval abbey, and the islands of Inchgarvie, Inchkeith, and Inchmickery. Look out for the marine wildlife including many seabirds, seals, and the occasional porpoise.


· Visit the Museum of Scottish Railways and explore locomotives, carriages, wagons and other railway artefacts. There is plenty to see and do, from climbing on the footplate of a locomotive to sorting letters in the Post Office Sorting coach
